Today, I attended a Mind, Body and Spirit fair, which was predominantly stall after stall of some type of reader; be it a medium, psychic, palmist, or astrologer. Whilst I did not indulge in a reading, I did speak with many like-minded folk, and it seemed that all of the most enjoyable aspects of the day related to Ancient China.
Unless you are not truly living your life, merely inert and existing, then life will inevitably fling a good measure of knock backs for you to handle. Rejection can present itself in many forms; exclusion from peer groups, not getting that job, or never hearing off Mr Right after your first date.
It is said “time heals” which suggests that over time, our wounds, be they physical or emotional, will naturally start to heal. I think that in terms of loss, such as the death of a loved one, time can start to soothe the initial rawness we experience, but does time ever heal us entirely?
