Unless you are not truly living your life, merely inert and existing, then life will inevitably fling a good measure of knock backs for you to handle. Rejection can present itself in many forms; exclusion from peer groups, not getting that job, or never hearing off Mr Right after your first date.

Life is good when you know exactly what it is that you want to do. However, when you don’t know what it is you want to do, life can suddenly feel somewhat more difficult and stagnant than you wish it to be.
I have recently found myself reading a book by the same title, which is predominantly an holistic guide to achieving a healthier heart. However, the book also proposes that we have two aspects to our heart; the physical heart and an emotional heart.
Many moons ago, Mr and Mrs Knight signed up for a Tai Chi class, as a result of discussing the need to find new things to do together, aside from the obvious pastime of husband and wife.
It is said “time heals” which suggests that over time, our wounds, be they physical or emotional, will naturally start to heal. I think that in terms of loss, such as the death of a loved one, time can start to soothe the initial rawness we experience, but does time ever heal us entirely?
What exactly is time? Is it a man made concept? A stress inducing framework? A helpful tool in everyday life?
